Are you a licensed and insured locksmith in Oklahoma?
Yes. Keys & Pins Locksmith is fully licensed in the State of Oklahoma and carries general liability insurance. We’re locally owned and operate out of Oklahoma City.
Are you a real local locksmith or a call center?
We’re a real, family-owned Oklahoma City locksmith. When you call (405) 400-8183, you speak with a locksmith – not an out-of-state dispatcher. Every technician lives and works in the OKC metro.
Do you offer upfront pricing?
Yes. We quote your job before we start any work. No bait-and-switch, no surprise fees, no upsells on the driveway.

Can you make a car key without the original?
Yes. We cut and program transponder keys, remote head keys, smart proximity keys, and traditional mechanical keys for most domestic and foreign vehicles — even without the original key present.
Do you program key fobs?
Yes. We program remotes and smart keys for the majority of makes and models. Bring your VIN or vehicle info when you call so we can confirm coverage and give you an accurate quote.
I'm locked out of my car. Can you help?
Absolutely. Car lockouts are one of our most common jobs. We use non-destructive entry tools — no broken windows, no damaged trim.
What's the difference between rekeying and replacing locks?
Rekeying changes the internal pins so old keys no longer work — cheaper and faster than replacement, and keeps your existing hardware. Replacement swaps the entire lock, which you’d want if the hardware is old, damaged, or you’re upgrading to smart or high-security locks.
I just moved into a new home. Should I rekey?
Rekeying is a smart security step after moving into a new home because you may not know who still has copies of the existing keys.
Do you install smart locks?

Yes. We open, rekey, and service commercial safes, filing cabinets, and desk locks.
